A brief recap of the previous chapter
The latest chapter continued immediately after the events of the previous one, with Hiori taking a shot despite his strong desire to do so. Hiori started speeding up unexpectedly, hoping to get away from Ikki Niko, who had given up on a one-on-one match against him by that time.
He was still evading Niko and Lorenzo, who had apparently sensed that he was about to take a shot and had rushed to him. Hiori passed the ball to Isagi with a simple flick of the wrist, but Lorenzo was sure he had taken it. Then Hiori confronted Barou, saying that Barou could see his choices and that he couldn’t achieve anything without Isagi.

Aryuu watched Hiori’s every move and concluded that he was going to pass to Isagi, so he continued to mark him. Blue Lock 238 reveals that Kaisen, having sensed Hiori’s impending pass, made a beeline for Isagi on the right. But Aryuu’s Aiku, who had felt Kaiser’s plans from a distance, was determined to put an end to them.
Hiori countered Barou by saying he was too slow and that he had the perfect mental image of the upcoming pass already. Isagi, meantime, had passed Aryuu, Aiku, and Kaiser, and was now making progress toward the objective. After the events of chapter 237, Aiku noticed that Hiori was playing entirely on instinct, without looking at Isagi at all.
Then Hiori made the pass, claiming that if they were genuine, Isagi would be there as well. Then, after evading all of Ubers’ defense, Isagi scored the game-winning super goal with a direct shot.
