A brief recap of the previous chapter
Some viewers believe that the arc’s conclusion weakened Hobin too much. Just see early Eli Jang and imagine Haesu but with far superior fighting instincts. Furthermore, Hobin is unfamiliar with Haesu’s combat technique. Hobin’s victory over Jinho and Taehoon was contingent on his familiarity with their fighting styles. And Samdak provided rebuttals to all of them.
Haesu is effective against Hobin because his strikes are not predictable. This, by the way, is simply my explanation of why Hobin came out on the losing end. This is a horrible decision for the plot unless they intend for Haeso to become the primary antagonist by betraying Jinho.
What To Expect
But from a storytelling perspective, I can’t see Haeso taking commands from a lesser character. The story’s conclusion is approaching, so we are curious how they’ll send out all of the major players.
Since it began with the greatest, it deserves the best conclusion. However, there are many readers who aren’t ready for the story to finish.
We’d be better off with an ending and a new series in which Hobin is still the main character but must deal with all the unlawful things happening in the country and fight greater opponents. The best of Yoo Hobin and Tahe-Hoon are still to come.
We can easily see those two breaking into the top five strongest fighters of all time over the whole PTJ series. If Hobin could beat prime Samdak, he’d be on par with Daniel at his best. We are rooting for a showdown between Prime Hobin and Prime Daniel.
