What is Isekai Ojisan Manga all about?
Featuring elements of action, adventure, comedy, drama, ecchi, fantasy, harem, romance, seiyuu, and a slice of life, Isekai Ojisan is a Japanese comic book/manga written and illustrated by Hotondo Shinderu. In 2018, Media Factory published the first installment of this series. Isekai Ojisan, previously serialized in Comic Walker and Web Comic Apanta, has been licensed for English publication by Yen Press.
While Takafumi’s uncle slipped into a coma after a vehicle accident, Ojisan’s family left him believing he was on the recovery. Only Takafumi made regular visits to his Ojisan, in the vain hope that he might improve. After 17 years in a coma, Takafumi’s Ojisan woke up and informed him about his time in an Isekai world full of swords and magic. Ojisan’s repeated audible remarks led Takafumi to believe he’d lost his mind. But Ojisan eventually clarified that he was speaking the language of the Isekai realm.

When Ojisan, after numerous inaudible statements, finally utilized magic, otaku fan Takafumi bought it. Therefore, the two of them started uploading videos of magic tricks to YouTube utilizing Ojisan’s magical talents. Soon they had enough viewers to afford gaming systems from Newtube. the love for old consoles also makes Isekai Ojisan quite popular among the gamers.
Once Takafumi’s Ojisan landed on Earth, the first thing he did was play video games for an entire week without stopping for sleep, food, or water. Ojisan seems to have transformed into a supernatural superhuman, despite Takafumi’s concerns.
