Raw Scans, Spoilers, and Summary for Jujutsu Kaisen 236

The manga Jujutsu Kaisne 236 starts with Geto shouting “Yo” to a stunned Gojo. “This is awful,” Gojo exclaims. Geto gets upset and accuses Gojo of being impolite. It seems the chapter has started with a flashback.

After death, you are all by yourself, Gojo claims he informed his students. He is praying this is all in his head. ‘Who cares?’ says Geto. “It does,” Gojo says in response. Regarding his father, he begins, “But I left it to Shoko to handle, so it’s all right,” before abruptly changing the subject.

How Strong?

How did King of Curses go, Geto? Gojo responds that he didn’t go all out since he knew Sukuna was powerful. Gojo claims he has doubts about his victory prospects even if Sukuna didn’t have Megumi’s CT. Geto can’t believe Sukuna convinced Gojo to admit it, of all people.

Gojo claims he exhausted all of his options. His conditioned body, acquired skills, honed talent, cultivated inspiration, and developed explosive abilities. He expresses his desire for them to reach Sukuna and his expectation that they eventually will. Gojo says he enjoyed himself.

Behavior

Because Sukuna didn’t offer his all to Gojo, He says he feels bad for him. According to Geto, that made him envious, but as long as Gojo is happy, that’s all that matters. Gojo claims he would have been content with just a slap on the back from Geto to keep him going.

Nanami claims he discussed delegating complete responsibility to Gojo with Geto in the past. Because Gojo didn’t value Jujutsu as something worth fighting for. Instead, Nanami labels Gojo a pervert because of his sorcerous behavior.

Like a Samurai in Jujutsu Kaisen 236

Gojo expresses relief that it wasn’t old age or illness that took his life, but rather, someone more powerful than him. When Gojo starts talking like a samurai general, Nanami says it’s horrible. As Haibara points out, it’s something everyone has noticed but has kept to themselves.

Nanami claims he will feel pity for Gojo in his final moments but will not attempt to justify his actions. For her help, Gojo appreciates Nanami.

Peace

Nanami tells Gojo that in his final moments, he had asked Mei san for advice and that Mei san had told him to either 1) move north if he wanted to discover a new part of himself, or 2) move south if he wanted to maintain his current identity.

According to Nanami, he picked South without a second thought. Thanks to Haibara, his final moments were peaceful.

RIP, Jujutsu Kaisen 236

After saying his goodbyes, Gojo leaves. We have Geto, Yaga, Nanami, Haibara, Riko, and Kuroi. And so we return to the real world. Sukuna explains Mahoraga’s evolution to him. He can become accustomed to attacks over time. Moreover, the more forceful the assault, the quicker it can adapt. Through all of Gojo’s infinity, Sukuna says he expects Mahoraga to be a role model.

Mahoraga was at first adjusting to Gojo’s infinite possibilities. The CE was adjusted in order to cancel out infinity. Mahoraga’s slash wasn’t quite like Sukuna’s when he fired it. It widened the CT’s scope beyond Gojo and beyond the cosmos and the world itself, and it slashed.

Gojo is then shown to be halves as Sukuna argues that if the globe can be cut in half, then infinity is of no consequence. A tearful Sukuna says goodbye to Gojo. When Sukuna pleads, “Don’t let me down,” the narrator reveals that Thunder God ‘ Hajime’ has entered the scene, showing no remorse for Gojo’s death. No break next week by the fan.
