Know about the manga
Since the first chapter didn’t completely answer all of your questions, we’ll do our best to do so here. To begin, there is a gap in time. Something dreadful happened during those missing 38 months, leaving a large scar on Chihiro’s face and forcing his father to give up forging swords forever. The sorcery group is the mastermind behind everything that has happened.
However, I do not believe that they were responsible for the death of Chihiros’s father, Rokuhira Kunishige. To a Yakuza member, Shiba made it quite apparent that Rokuhira Kunishige is the father of this child.
Scar
Perhaps he has survived. Chihiro still hates the sorcery group since they did something so horrific that it forced him to resign and left him with a permanent scar on his face.
We have a theory about why Chihiro has become so hostile to the sorcery group. Our guess is that Hishaku, leader of the sorcerer’s guild, had Rokuhira Kunishige craft a blade for him.
It’s possible that Rokuhira hesitated to forge the blade because he realized its intended user would use it to inflict violence on others. Hishaku, like all bad groups, may have wiped up his workshop as punishment for turning him down.
