A brief recap of the previous chapter
The previous chapter of King the Land starts with Gu Won, who is still asleep, and wakes up after he received a letter from his manager. When he asks who was it from, the manager replies that he actually had no idea. Someone just gave it to him and he wasn’t able to ask for that person’s identity.
Gu Won just says to throw the letter away but it seems the manager had some other plans. He opens and reads it loudly and it was the invitation to Han Minsoo’s memorial. Gu Won get stunned after hearing that name (her mother’s name). He decided that it is time to head back to Korea.
