A brief recap of the previous chapter
The previous chapter of Wind Breaker starts with Japan’s grand prix of cycling. Both Kazuma and Jo Mahon were racing at the front leading the race. We saw many flashbacks of Kazuma, where Kaneshiro’s health went worst. He takes her to the hospital where doctor replied that they need to shift her to a better one.
Meanwhile, Kazuma was also given an offer by the fixers that if he make Jo Mahon lose the race he can get a lot of money for destroying him. In the present time at the race, Kazuma started to remember all the time and memories he made with Jo Mahon.
Jo Mahon the winner?
Finally, he decided to block the other race participant and helped Jo Mahon to win the race. However, the fixer who was watching on the tv got pissed after seeing it. At the end of the chapter of Wind Breaker, we see both Jo Mahon and Kazuma doing a fist bump after accomplishing their goal. Therefore, we can predict that the next chapter might be the last for the back story.
