Recap of Chapter 73
In the last chapter, Maxi was seen suffering from illness and exhaustion. Because she used all of her mana to heal the injured soldiers, she was suffering from the after effects. Riftan was seen trying hard to keep Maxi warm.
When Maxi wakes up the next morning, she finds Riftan boiling in anger. Riftan asked Maxi not to leave the room until she feels fine again. He also told Maxi to never help him again, because this puts her life in danger.
Riftan left after the argument and Ludis came to help Maxi get ready. Princess Agnes came to visit Maxi, which was totally random, but Maxi tried her best to welcome her. Princess Agnes asked for the apology and said that all was her fault, but Maxi couldn’t understand the reason behind the apology.
Then Agnes explains about the barrier she built, which was unable to stop Wyverns. She further explained that there was a hole in the barrier and that’s why they escaped and also appeared before Maxi. However, Maxi assured Agnes that there is no need to worry, since everything is alright.
Agnes then invited Maxi for all the luxury in the capital, but she refused. She wanted to stay in Anatol with Riftan, because she didn’t want to leave him.
