Netflix is all set to release a comedy thriller drama series, named ‘Choona’. After a long time, we will see Jimmy Shergill in a web series. He will be playing the role of a politician in the series ‘Choona’. Pushpendra Nath Misra is the director and the creator of the show. Earlier ‘Choona’ was planned to be released in August 2023, but at the last moment, the release date got postponed. However, they have not given any particular reason for postponing the release date. Around one month ago on 25 July 2023, the official trailer of the series was released by Netflix. They released the trailer on Netflix’s official site and Netflix’s YouTube channel. In the time span of one month, the trailer has already reached 2.1 million in views on Youtube. It is expected to reach even more before releasing the show.
Series, ‘Choona’ release date has been announced by Netflix and it is 29 September 2023.

Plot of the series
The story of ‘Choona’ does not revolve around any single character; however, it centers on a ruthless politician named ‘Shukla’. Shukla is a greedy, yet superstitious politician who is ruthless and cunning. Additionally, he is aiming for the seat of ‘Chief Minister,’ and he is ready to do anything for that. Shukla has seven people in his way, who have their eyes on Shukla’s money. All seven come from a different background. These seven people consist of a cop, astrologer, student leader, lover, silent guy, alcoholic and an informant. Subsequently, they all come together after finding out about the 300 crore that Shukla was going to receive. They all plan out a heist to get that 300 crore and then the real story begins.
