Deadpool 3 is an upcoming superhero film from the United States. It is based on a character called Deadpool from the Marvel Comics. Marvel Studios and Maximum Effort are producing the movie, with distribution by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. This film is slated to be the 34th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It will continue the story from the previous movies Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). The person in charge of directing this movie is Shawn Levy. The script was written by a team consisting of Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Ryan Reynolds, and Levy. The main actor, Ryan Reynolds, plays the role of Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool. Deadpool 3 Release Date

Scheduled for a May 3, 2024, release, the third installment of the Deadpool movie series will hit theaters in the United States. Initially, the filmmakers planned to release it on September 6 of the same year, but they later changed the date to November 8. This movie is set to be included in Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Deadpool 3 Cast

Ryan Reynolds plays Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool.

Hugh Jackman portrays James “Logan” Howlett, also known as Wolverine.

Morena Baccarin plays Vanessa, who is Deadpool’s fiancée.

Brianna Hildebrand portrays Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a teenage member of the X-Men who can create powerful explosions from her body.

Jennifer Garner appears as Elektra Natchios, a highly skilled assassin of Greek descent who uses a pair of sai as weapons. Garner previously played this character in the movies Daredevil (2003) and Elektra (2005).

The film also features returning actors from previous Deadpool movies. Leslie Uggams plays Blind Al, Deadpool’s elderly blind roommate. Karan Soni portrays Dopinder, a taxi driver and Wilson’s enthusiastic chauffeur. Stefan Kapičić provides the voice for Colossus, a member of the X-Men who can transform his whole body into steel. Shioli Kutsuna plays Yukio, Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend and a fellow member of the X-Men. Rob Delaney appears as Peter, a member of Wilson’s “X-Force” team. Additionally, the casting has chosen Emma Corrin for the main villain, and they have not yet disclosed Matthew Macfadyen’s role.

Deadpool Development and Production

After the success of Deadpool (2016), 20th Century Fox planned two sequels. The third film was supposed to include the superhero team X-Force. The director of Deadpool, Tim Miller, didn’t return for the sequels due to creative differences with Ryan Reynolds. David Leitch was hired to direct Deadpool 2 (2018) instead. Fox wanted another filmmaker for the third film. In March 2017, Rhett Reese, the co-writer of Deadpool and Deadpool 2, mentioned that Deadpool 2 would introduce X-Force and that they would then feature in a separate spin-off film, distinct from the third Deadpool film.
