Plot of the movie
When you are in the middle of ‘nowhere’, there you are the only saviour of yourself. Moreover, the movie ‘Nowhere’ is based on such a story, where the protagonist has to become her own savior. Additionally, Anna Castillo plays the character of ‘Mia’ in this movie, which shows the story of a woman. Mia, after spending years of her life in the country she is living, eventually escapes from there. She escapes because the country is poor, there is scarcity of resources and overpopulation. Unfortunately, the flight she goes by, throws the container she is in, into the sea. Now, she is in the middle of ‘Nowhere’ and above that she is pregnant.
This is Netflix’s brief introduction about the film: ‘Pregnant alone and drifting in the sea, a woman trapped in a shipping container tries to survive after fleeing a devastated totalitarian country’.
