Walt Disney Animation Studios is set to release an upcoming live action or animated fantasy short film, named ‘Once upon a studio’. Dan Abraham and Trent Correy have directed and written this film, whereas Yvett Merino and Bradford Simonsen have produced the film. This particular film is described as a love letter to Walt Disney Animation Studios. Since Walt Disney Company will celebrate its 100th anniversary on 16 October 2023, this movie will be special. Once Upon a Studio Release Date and Trailer
15 October 2023 is Once Upon a studio release date on ABC. Walt Disney Animation Studios released the official trailer of the film on their platform and Youtube. More than 680k people have already watched the trailer on Youtube alone. The expectation of it to reach an even higher, looking at disney characters popularity. Also on 11 June 2023, the film premiered during Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Animation and Music
This movie is special for Walt Disney Animation Studios, because it’s their 100th anniversary. As per the directors, the movie is a ‘love letter’ from their side to Walt Disney and thank you to all the audience.
Eric Goldberg was appointed as the head of hand drawn animation, whereas Andrew Feliciano handled all the computer animation. The makers called CG animators who were also experts in hand-drawn animation to the studios. To present the replication of the film’s original style, the animation was done that way. They hand-drew up to 80% of the complete film’s animation.
Dave Metzger has managed and composed the music. They composed a different score for every character’s debut appearance to evoke that old feeling.
