This Ragnarok series is nowhere related to Marvel’s ragnarok. This, a Norway based fantasy series shows how a young boy, who has supernatural powers, deals with the challenges. In the series the increasing pollution and eerie activities in the surroundings give rise to suspicion towards a particular family. The family is called by the name Jutuls and because they have unnatural powers, they control the whole city Edda. The main character, Magne who is the reincarnation of Thor slowly knows himself and his powers. Eventually in the 1st season, Magne starts the fight against the Jutuls, the strongest family. In the second season, Magne came to know about other beings who are reincarnated as other Norse gods.
Ragnarok 3rd season release date
This is netflix’s 3rd Norwegian language TV series and it was released on 21st May 2021 after getting premiered in January 2021. The 3rd season of Ragnarok will be released on 24th August 2023 on netflix official site. The Danish production company SAM Productions has produced this series. The 3rd season is the last and final season of the series, as it was declared by the makers of the show.

2nd season recap
In the first season Magne was thinking he is the only god, and came to know about others in season 2. He got a few allies with him in the season, who will help him to defeat giants. Iman Reza, his school’s friend, was the first one to join Magne. Because Iman is the reincarnation of goddess Freyja, she is capable of manipulating others. With the help of Iman, Magne met Harry, who is the reincarnation of Týr, the god of war. It was revealed in the second season that Laurits, son of Turid and Vidar is half giant and half god. Because he is the reincarnation of the god of mischief (Loki), he maintains the perfect relationship with both sides.
It was seen in the second season that the characters continuously changed their alliances. Eventually in the second season, Magne realizes how important he is in the battle and therefore he starts looking for his hammer. Despite all of his powers, he keeps himself grounded. In Ragnarok, Magne is one of the most humble characters and therefore maintains a good relationship with everyone. But the question is, will Magne be able to complete the mission by sticking to his morals? Well it will be revealed in the 3rd season which will get released on 24 August 2023 on netflix.
