Netflix announced the release date for the highly anticipated movie, Rebel Moon, slated to hit screens on December 22, 2023. They have also revealed their plans for a limited theatrical release. Furthermore, fans can also look forward to another piece of good news as Netflix has already given the green light to a follow-up film titled Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, with an expected release date of April 19, 2024.

To begin with in a distant region of the galaxy, there exists a colony facing a grave danger. Due to the armies of the oppressive leader, Regent Balisarius, have targeted this colony, and its very existence hangs in the balance and In response to this imminent threat, the colony decides to send a determined and enigmatic young woman on a vitally important mission however her objective is to venture into nearby planetary realms and assemble a formidable force of skilled fighters. In Short Together, they will unite and resist the tyranny of Regent Balisarius, safeguarding their home and all they hold dear.

• Djimon Hounsou portrays General Titus, a former Imperium leader who joins the fight.

• Michiel Huisman plays Gunnar, a farmer and Kora’s friend who joins her.
• Staz Nair is Tarak, a former noble turned blacksmith with the ability to connect with nature’s animals and lead them in combat. He is recruited by Kora.
