Disney plus Hotstar is set to release a movie named The Little Mermaid on their official platform. Movie has already been released theatrically in the United States on 26 May 2023. After the success of the movie, it will now be released on Disney plus Hotstar in other nations including India. Bob Marshall directed “The Little Mermaid,” and David Magee is responsible for the screenplay. The movie is officially by Walt Disney, as they are the co-producers along with Lucamar productions and Marc Platt productions.

Plot of The Little Mermaid
The story is about a young mermaid whose name is Ariel. Her father is King Triton, who is also the ruler of Atlantica. One day, as Ariel observes the fireworks emanating from the surface above the ocean, fascination grips her, and she develops a wish to go there. The fireworks were coming from the nearby ship on the island, where Eric is the prince. While this was happening a storm arrived forcing the boat to crash against the rocks. Ariel somehow saves Eric and manages to vanish before he could regain his consciousness. Ariel’s dream to go on the land seemed possible, when she met her aunt. Ariel’s aunt gives her a deal that allows her to go on land. The real story begins, after Ariel will accept the deal, because she will be facing a series of dangerous events on her way.
