The Palming Pose: Unveiling the Technique

What’s more was, Malaika elaborated on the benefits of the palming pose, the yoga asana she introduced. She explained, “The palming pose helps relieve stress and induce relaxation. The warmth generated in your palms soothes up to 6 eye muscles, enhancing blood circulation and reducing eye fatigue. Regardless of the chaos in your mornings, afternoons, or evenings, dedicating just 30 seconds to yourself can work wonders. This pose can be practiced for up to 5 minutes.”

Agreeing with the efficacy of the palming pose, Jiggyasa Gupta, a nutrition and fitness coach at FITTR, described the technique. The palming pose involves covering closed eyes with your palms, instantly alleviating eye strain and stress. Gupta highlighted its restorative nature, emphasizing its role in relaxing muscles, energizing the body, enhancing sleep quality, stabilizing the mind, and boosting blood flow.
