Apple Event 2023 Live: The iPhone 15 series, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and Apple Watch Series 9 have all been formally unveiled by Apple. With a new S9 CPU that Apple claims is 60% quicker and a 30% faster GPU, the Apple Watch Series 9 offers major upgrades. New features worth mentioning include Double Tap for watch control, Name Drop for sharing information with nearby users, and access to health data with Siri.
The company also unveiled a new Apple Watch Ultra model with interchangeable watch faces and power zones for gathering exercise-related data.
Apple announced the iPhone 15 series equipped with the A16 Bionic chip and Super Retina XDR display. It has a revolutionary contour edge design, two sizes, and a variety of colourful colours. The cutting-edge camera system delivers 4K video, auto portrait mode, and 48-megapixel capabilities. The iPhone 15 Pro provides a more repairable design, software features geared at gamers, and a titanium construction. Additionally, it has a pro-level camera system with numerous lenses and the A17 Pro chip.
Apple is also making the switch to a USB-C port for the iPhone. The starting costs for these items range from $399 for the Apple Watch Series 9 to $999 for the iPhone 15 Pro.
