A brief recap of the previous chapter
The previous chapter of A Wonderful New World starts with Seung driving the team leader to the meeting. He asked about the details where team leader explained that the chairman calls us anytime if there is something important to discuss.
She tells him that it is not important for him to drive her all the way. But he insist that he would like to help the team leader as much as possible. When they arrived at the meeting, the team leader found that she was the last one to arrive.
Win the competition
Seorin, the vice president, Nasori’s ex-boyfriend along the team leader were present along with the chairman. Joo-hee (vice president) asked what was so important to call them here, he could have informed them on the phone too.
But the chairman starts announcing that along with every group head and leader, whoever wins the competition, will become the president and will control the whole company group. That announcement shocked everyone. Joohee rebuked him saying that this belongs to their family and he is giving the chance to the outsider. The chairman didn’t listen to anyone and it seems he has already decided. The meeting gets over then and then everyone left from there one by one in the previous chapter of A Wonderful New World.
