Netflix is all set to release an upcoming horror drama series on their platform named, ‘The Fall of the house of Usher’. This miniseries is somewhat related to or based on the story of, ‘The fall of the house of Usher’. Edgar Allan Poe wrote it, and this series also takes his other works as the basis. Mike Flanagan has directed and written this miniseries. Michael Fimognari has also worked as the director along with Mike Flanagan. This is the United States based series and therefore will be officially released in English language. The Fall of the House of Usher Release Date

They released the official trailer of the series on September 12, 2023, on both the Netflix site and YouTube. More than 900k people have already watched the trailer and this number is expected to rise before the series release. They have scheduled the premiere of the two starting episodes at the Fantastic Fest in September. However, the complete series will be on Netflix official site. 

The Fall of the House of Usher release date is 12th October 2023.

Plot of the series

The actual story written by Edgar Allan Poe is considered as one of his most famous and commendable works. The series is based on the same story, however somewhat different. Roderick Usher, who is one of the main characters of the series, is the CEO of a pharmaceutical company. Fortunato Pharmaceuticals is the name of the company. Madeline is the sister of Roderick, who is also one of the main characters. Both Roderick and Madeline have committed many sins through the company. Now, the shapeshifting demon from Roderick’s past is committed to kill his children. It wants to expose Usher for the sins they have committed in their past.

This is Netflix’s brief introduction about the series: To secure their fortune and future, two ruthless siblings build a family dynasty that begins to crumble when their heirs mysteriously die, one by one’.
