Netflix is all set to release an upcoming American neo-noir action thriller movie, named ‘The Killer’ on their official platform. The basis of the film comes from a French graphic novel series named, ‘The Killer’. Alexis Matz wrote the novel while Luc Jacamon provided the illustrations for it. David Fincher has directed the movie, whereas Andrew Kevin Walker has provided the screenplay. Cean Chaffin has produced the movie and Plan B, Bloom Studios & Panic Pictures (II) are the production companies involved. The makers released the official trailer of the movie on Netflix’s official platform and Youtube on 29 August 2023. Plot of the Movie
The story revolves around an assassin who doesn’t hold any formal authority. The assassin gets into a huge confusion when an international hit goes wrong.

Production and Music
The first time when the information about the adaptation of the novel ‘The Killer’ came out was back in 2007. David Fincher, initially wanted to start a project under Plan B Entertainment and Paramount Pictures, but in 2021, David signed a complete deal with Netflix.
In Paris 2021, the actual filming started and during April 2022 it ended. Initially Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross were going to compose the music for the film. However later it was confirmed that the movie will have the songs of English band The Smiths.
