An American mixed martial artist, Dillon Danis is currently one of the most trending fighters around the world. Bellator 198 was Dillon’s debut MMA fight which he fought against Kyle Walker. With a toe hold in the initial round, Dillon won his debut fight. A confused fight happened between him and Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, when Khabib threw his mouth gear and rushed towards him. In response, Dillon threw multiple punches at Khabib, before a full fledged brawl took place. Due to his actions at UFC 229, the UFC fined Dillon $7,500 and suspended him for about 7 months.

Dillon’s mother and father both belong to different places. His mother is Honduran while his father is Armenian. Dillon Danis used to go to Parsippany Hills High School, as he grew up in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. During his early days, he started wrestling there, however he wasn’t even able to do a single push-up back then. At his teenage, when he was 15, he started attending jiu-Jitsu, a Brazilian training centre. He kept going to New York to Marcelo Garcia’s Academy to get extra knowledge. Eventually, at 19 years of age, Dillon moved to New York. After winning several fights, he received his black belt at the age of 21.

Dillon Danis Boxing and MMA career
Dillon Danis came to the limelight after UFC selected him for a training center, where Conor McGregor was the coach. He had a controversial fight against Nat Diaz which resulted in his negative image. Due to his negative image, Marcelo Garcia Academy removed him from their school. After fighting against Kyle Walker in his debut fight, Dillon fought against Max Humphreys at Bellator 222. In the first round, the fight concluded with Dillon winning by armbar.
In a press conference held by Dillon in November 2022, he spoke negatively for youtuber KSI, founder of MF & DAZN. While broadcasting on November 19, they announced that Dillon will fight against KSI in an exhibition boxing match. The match was going to take place on 14 January 2023, but Dillon withdrew on 4th January 2023. The reason behind his withdrawal from the match was that he was unprepared. Without any coach, without proper weight management, he might be struggling and therefore he withdrew.

After Danis withdrew from his match against KSI, his verbal fight began with KSI and Logan Paul. It was on 8 August 2023, when the fight between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis was announced. The match will take place on 14 October at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
Controversies
Other than his suspension from the New York’s school and getting fined for 7,500 dollars during Conor Mcgregor and Khabib’s match, Dillon is involved in many other inappropriate events.
Dillon was arrested in New Jersey because of a fight between bouncers of a night club. This happened on 18 September 2021, however, Dillon was released by the officers just after 20 minutes.
UFC veteran Jake Shields was accused by Dillon, because Jake tried to provide Dillon PEDs before the 2017 ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship.
