NEW CS RATING: Furthermore CS Rating acts as a clear indicator of how well you perform in Counter-Strike. It plays a crucial role in assessing your position on the worldwide and local leaderboards. To obtain your CS Rating, engage in matches within the enhanced Premier mode, which features the Active Duty Pick-Ban competitive mode. You can participate solo or alongside your friends.
Smoke Grenades: The Smoke Grenades have been enhanced to become dynamic volumetric objects. This means that they can now interact with the surrounding environment in a more realistic way. They are sensitive to changes in lighting, as well as respond to gunfire and explosions that occur around them. This improvement adds greater immersion and realism to the overall experience.
Maps: Counter strike 2 comes with a whole new world experience. These Maps are powered by Source 2 tools. Maps have undergone various improvements, resulting in a cleaner, brighter, and overall better experience. These enhancements range from simple upgrades to complete overhauls. The aim is to ensure that maps are visually appealing, easy to read, and provide an enhanced user experience.
HI-DEF VFX: In Counter-Strike 2, all of the visual effects have been updated. The lighting and particle technologies in Source 2 provide water, explosions, fire, smoke, muzzle flashes, bullet tracers, impact effects, and more a completely new appearance and behaviour.
ACCURATE AUDIO: The development team revised the sounds in Counter Strike 2 to more clearly represent the game state, better reflect the physical surroundings, and make them more distinct. Additionally, they rebalanced the sounds to improve listening comfort.
